With an altitude of 550m of Mount Tamborine, watch the magnificent inland sunset, with a Japanese fusion cuisine prepared by Japanese Chef against the backdrop of the fantastic twilight scenery. After the night sets in, enjoy a star gazing tour by Keisuke, an Australian certified eco-tour guide who will take you on a journey through the southern night sky whilst enhancing your knowledge on astronomy. During the meal, there will be Irish harp, piano, and some Japanese instruments (Koto & Sanshin) and singing performances.
The night of the new moon is really beautiful.
The sky is full of stars … You can make a wish for the stars and realise that they are connected to the universe.
We will invite from 12 to 18 people as guests. It is cold at night, so please bring a coat or a jacket and Yoga mat to watch stars.
The air is clear at night, and the stars are extremely beautiful! However, I am sorry if the weather is bad. The meal schedule cannot be changed, so we will still hold the event, but hopefully we all can experience the beautiful sunset, twilight, together with millions of stars and the milky way.
If you would like to stay that night at Sunset Heaven Ryokan & Spa, you can stay at our new Japanese ryokan style rooms. We have two rooms for 3 or 4 gusts. ( $130 plus GST per person to share with other guests for twin room or Queen bed room, or Japanese therapy room) You can drink, and no need to drive home and also Infrared Sauna use are including. Usually need $55 extra per person to use. And also you will be able to have cooked Japanese ryokan breakfast with beautiful morning Valley view with morning mist.

2. Sound Healing Meditation & Spa package ( Duration: 4.5 hours )

We’d also like to invite you to our very special Sound Healing Concert and meditation sessions where you will hear a variety of sound healing instruments.
The earthy and beautiful harmonic overtones of Irish harp, Native American Flute, and Magical Japanese Singing Bowls ( Singing Ring®︎ ) and voice will bring you to a deep relaxing, meditative state (theta and alpha brain states), releasing unwanted energy and balance your body, mind and spirit.
We can provide private sessions for groups of 6 people or more at the observatory deck, where you will be able to see the breathtaking view of Mount Tamborine at Sunset Heaven Ryokan & Spa.
We will serve Japanese Matcha tea and sweets after or before session.

3. Music Concert lunch or tea package
We invite you to private concert at Sunset Heaven Ryokan & Spa with the mountain view serving as a beautiful backdrop.
We are Japanese ladies performing as a music duo and lovers of music – performing not only Japanese songs with Japanese instruments, but Irish and English songs with Irish harp as well.
We would like to introduce you to the unique and wonderful aspects of Japanese culture – including traditional Japanese instruments called “Koto” (Japanese 13 strings harp) and “Sanshin”( Japanese 3 strings guitar) etc. However, we also perform English songs Irish songs, religious songs for church in Latin, Opera songs in Italian, from Classical music to Musical songs etc.
We perform mainly in aged care centres, aged day care centres, and churches. Music is an international language!! In any languages songs can touch your heart.

4. Soba workshop & Spa package ( Duration: 5 Hours )
We are excited to announce that Soba Dojo will be held at Sunset Heaven Ryokan & Spa.
Get ready to learn about soba noodle making from professional Soba Instructor, eat the most delicious soba lunch, and enjoy luxury Spa time in our little Japan.

5. Sunset Twilight spa & Dinner package ( Sunset & Twilight time depends on the season, but from any place of your staying, you can see sunset & twilight ) (Duration: 3 hours)
The Ryokan has a superb view jacuzzi, superb open-air bath and infrared sauna as outdoor equipment, and you can enjoy a superb view from anywhere, but it uses rainwater instead of a natural hot spring, and it takes 12 hours to warm up and need cleaning hot water. It will take some time, so I would like you to make a reservation more than three days in advance if possible. It depends on the weather because it’s outdoors, so you can pay after you come, but you need to make a reservation in advance being ready to use for your arrival. Also, if you can’t use a jacuzzi and a hot water open-air bath for bad weather, we can change to a foot bath on the roofed view deck with tea & sweets. Staying guests can use the spa for $55 per person (incl.GST). It also comes with cosy bathrobe.
Then warm your body and detox with a healthy Infrared sauna with a view. When you come out in the shower, look at the sunset and have a healthy Japanese hotpot dinner or an authentic Japanese food at the magical time, the sky is blue and orange colour on the horizontal line.
Sunset time varies from season to season, so this plan is a winter time. Daylight saving time will be a little later.

6. Couple sunset pampering package ( Duration 5 hours )
Sunset Heaven Ryokan & Spa treatments are very special. Sound Vibration Healing uses a harmonic-rich singing ball developed in Japan that is performed before and after the massage. It begins with an initial consultation with the client and adjust your body with a therapeutic remedial massage from head to toe using essential oils blended only for you, and finally the supine position, after remedial massage, again sound healing at the end, for a 2-hour treatment that balances the cells of water in your body with sound healing that directly feels the sound of the body. This treatment is a very unique treatment, so there is only one therapist that can do this. Therefore you can’t do treatment at the same time for two.
That’s why we made that while waiting for the treatment, the partner may use the time to relax in the Jacuzzi. How about a birthday present for your partner? After the treatment, would you like to watch the sunset and have hot pot dinner together?
After the meal, if the sky is dark, you may also be able to see the full starry sky.

We offer carefully tailored experiences that are both productive and memorable. For example, workshops that include yoga, Kung Fu, Tai Chi, outdoor cooking, bushwalking club, sound healing meditation in the magnificent nature or with harp and Japanese singing bowls or simply strolling through the nearby mountains and beautiful rainforest are all available to organise at Sunset Heaven Ryokan & Spa.
